Philadephia Museum of Art

Made it over on Friday. Got to check out the Michelangelo Pistoletto exhibit. Some very cool, and absorbing pieces, to say the least. The works are made from painted tissue paper or silkscreen prints with mirror-polished, stainless steel backdrops so you can’t view the pieces without realizing your own presence as a part of the work.

Jacob King began The Scale of Kings in 2010 out of an interest in interior design and has worked with firms like Huniford Design Studio in New York. A former editor, King has worked with publications like Esquire and Essential Homme. Currently he works in education, hoping to join an ESL program by 2014.
